Import patients from your current system

You do not have to start from an empty patient list. Tarsi imports your existing patients from a spreadsheet so their history is there from day one.
Prepare your file
Export your patients from your current system as a CSV. The essentials are first name, last name, email, and phone; date of birth and address are worth including if you have them. One row per patient, with a header row.
Run the import
Open the data import tool from Settings, upload the file, and map each column to the matching Tarsi field. Review the preview, then confirm. Patients are matched and de-duplicated so you do not create twins of people you already added.
After importing
Spot-check a handful of records. Patients with a valid email can be invited into the portal, where they verify and claim their record.
Common questions
Will importing create duplicates?
The importer de-duplicates on identity (email and name), so re-running a file or importing an overlapping list will not double up existing patients.
Can I import appointment or treatment history?
Patient demographics import cleanly via spreadsheet. For richer historical data, contact support about a guided migration.
