Setting up memberships and Beauty Bank
On this page
Memberships create predictable recurring revenue, and Beauty Bank turns every visit into a reason to come back. This guide covers setting both up and redeeming them at checkout.
Create a membership plan
Under Sales Programs, define a plan: price, billing cadence (monthly or annual), and the perks members receive — included credit, discounts, or priority booking. Members are billed automatically and their benefits apply at checkout without staff doing the math.
How Beauty Bank credit works
Beauty Bank deposits credit into a patient's account from qualifying visits, spend, or referrals. Patients see their balance when they book, which is exactly when it nudges them to rebook with you. Balances follow the patient across visits.
Redeem at checkout
Apply membership benefits and Beauty Bank credit on the invoice before charging the remaining balance. See Redeem Beauty Bank credit and memberships for the checkout flow and edge cases.
Common questions
What is the difference between a membership and a package?
A membership bills on a recurring schedule for ongoing perks; a package is a prepaid bundle of treatments the patient draws down over time. Both apply automatically at checkout.
What happens to credit if a patient cancels?
Earned Beauty Bank credit stays on the patient's balance; recurring billing stops at cancellation. Your plan settings control any expiry rules.
Can credit be used on any treatment?
By default yes, subject to any rules you set on the plan. It applies as account credit against the invoice balance.
