Lot tracking is what lets you use product oldest-first and trace exactly where a recalled lot went.
Record lots on receipt
When you receive product, capture the lot number and expiry. Tarsi flags lots approaching expiry so you use them first and waste less.
Handle a recall
If a lot is recalled, you can identify which patients received product from it via the charts where it was used — so outreach is precise, not a guess.
Common questions
What if I did not record a lot number?
Stock still tracks by quantity, but traceability needs the lot. Add lot details going forward to enable expiry and recall features.
