Why an invoice will not send

When an invoice will not go out, it is nearly always one of these.

The patient has no email

Emailing an invoice needs a valid patient email address. Add or correct it on the patient record and resend.

The invoice has no line items

An empty invoice has nothing to send. Add at least one service or product line.

It is still a draft

Confirm the invoice is finalized rather than sitting as a draft, then send.

Common questions

The patient says it never arrived.

Check spam and confirm the address has no typo. You can also share the invoice link directly or take payment in person.

Payment will not go through.

Confirm your payment processor is connected in Settings. For card declines, try a different method or take a manual payment.
